The Healthcare Quality Graduate Certificate provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate healthcare quality and measure the effectiveness of outcomes. Students learn how healthcare organizations assess and improve quality using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
Coursework focuses on analytical approaches such as statistical process control, histograms, and Pareto charts, as well as qualitative tools including root cause analysis, SWOT analysis, affinity diagrams, and flow charts. Graduates are prepared to support healthcare organizations in managing and improving the quality and value of care.
Analyze Healthcare Quality
Evaluate healthcare quality and outcomes using quantitative methods and data analysis tools.
Quality Improvement Methods
Apply qualitative methods such as root cause analysis and workflow evaluation to support quality improvement.

- HAP 790 – Capstone Practicum in Health Systems Management
