About the Program
The AI in Health Summer Camp is a five-day program hosted by the Department of Health Administration, Policy, and Informatics at George Mason University. Designed for rising 11th–12th grade students, the camp introduces participants to how artificial intelligence is used across health systems, hospitals, and community health organizations.

What the Week Looks Like?
Five mornings, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., July 27–31, 2026, on George Mason's Fairfax campus. Each day mixes a short lesson, a hands-on activity, and a team build session called the AI Maker Lab. The week wraps with a Student Showcase where teams present their work to family, faculty, and guests, and every student leaves with a certificate of completion.
Career Pathways at Mason
The week is also a window into what comes next. Students meet Mason faculty, current students, and admissions staff working in three fields where AI is reshaping healthcare:

Mason offers bachelor's, master's, and certificate programs in each — including a new AI in Health graduate certificate that builds directly on what students explore during camp.
